Sunday at 9:00am and 10:45am
Our Sunday services are known for using contemporary music and a down-to-earth message that connects with people’s lives. Often, we’ll include drama or multi-media to present the timeless wisdom of the Bible in a way we can all relate to.
People who haven’t attended church, or for some reason have quit going to church, are usually surprised at how meaningful these services can be. In fact, the services are specifically designed for individuals checking out what it really means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Though
not to be taken lightly, even long-time Christians will find these services
to be challenging, both personally and spiritually.
What
about the Kids?
We believe this is where Hillside shines the brightest. We
couldn’t be more proud of our Children’s Ministries and it’s
volunteers.
Infant Through Toddlers…
Sunday at 9:00am and 10:45am
Our Nursery and Toddler class workers create a fun, safe
and loving environment. Leaders give special care and attention to each
child who is entrusted to them during the worship service. Jesus’
love, radiating from our leaders, will help your child feel that church
is a happy place where they’re loved and secure.
Pre-K Through 5th Grade…
Sunday at 9:00am and 10:45am
Every weekend, our Pre-K through 5th Graders are greeted
as they enter “Kids Korner” territory by our warm and friendly
team of volunteers. These workers have a passion for kids. The sounds
of the children learning to praise God can sometimes be heard throughout
the building! 2nd through 5th Graders will laugh out loud while watching
the live puppet show, or fast-paced videos, or doing goofy games, all
presented along with an interactive, creative teaching that will help
them apply God’s truths to their lives. These dedicated leaders
will show your kids the love of God in a dynamic and fun environment.
6th Grade Through High School…
Sunday at 9:00am and 10:45am
Teenagers from 6th Grade on up are encouraged to participate
upstairs with the adults on Sundays as they have their own cutting edge
services on Friday and Saturday evenings.
"The Well" Jr. High……
Fridays at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Where sixth, seventh and eight graders connect. Packed
with team-building competitions, small group discussions, intense worship
times, rockin’ music and games, all centered around a challenging
teaching geared just for that age-group. A High-Energy night with a
team of High-Energy youth workers who are dedicated to impacting the
lives of teens. Always check the bulletins for scheduled activities
and trips.
Revolution Sr. High……
Saturdays 7:00 – 9:00 pm
This evening shatters the stereotype that Christianity
is boring. Relationship building is key in this ministry. Teens from
all kinds of backgrounds can find a unity with each other through their
relationship with Jesus. This night will focus on relevant, real-life
issues that high schoolers are dealing with today. Intense teaching,
impassioned worship and meaningful relationships help our young people
understand the impact God wants to have on their lives. The Leaders
in this ministry are strong role models with a massive heart for today’s
teens. Always check the bulletins for scheduled activities and trips.
Mid-Week Believer’s Service…
Every Third Wed. 7 – 8:30 pm
When you begin to think of Hillside Community Church
as home and you want to gather with your new church family, check out
the sometimes reserved, sometimes high-voltage, always worshipful experience
at our monthly mid-week service. You’ll receive a deeper Bible
teaching and connect with God through music, prayer and reflection.
Many find it to be an opportunity to grow closer to God and others,
as we’re challenged and encouraged to live our day-to-day the way
Jesus wants us to.
